Hello... Bangkok!
We are here at Bangkok from 13-16 January 2011. Since there is 4 of us, we went to take a cab and cost us 300+ bahts to travel to our hotel area. It is definitely cheaper than to travel in a van which would cost 1000-1200 bahts.
Upon arriving at the hotel lobby, we were greeted with a welcome drink while we wait to check in..

The hotel rooms comes in different colors:

As we booked 2 rooms, we were given pink and green. Haha me and Ashley got the pink room while Nyssa and Li Ling got the green room.
This is our room, the pink color in the photo didn't turn out to be as bright as it should be...We paid about $100 each person for 3 nights so it is consider quite reasonable.
If you are travelling to Bangkok, you can consider this hotel as it is located just 5 minutes from Pratunam Market and 10-15 minutes walk from Platinum Mall.

Som Boon Seafood Restaurant
There is actually 2 Som Boon Seafood Restaurant around and 1 is fake! Our "tutu" drivers drove us to the fake restaurant and we were so angry! The fake outlet has its own parking area whereas the authentic outlet roadside is parallel parking...
In the end, we took a cab and managed to find the authentic outlet. We ordered lot of seafood...but I didn't took much photos cos too hungry!
But there is one dish you need to order which is the Curry Crab! Super delicious and famous over there. Don't miss it! I will try to get the authentic outlet address and post it here.
The next day, we headed down to Platinum Mall again...Shop Shop Shop!
We had an Ala-Carte dinner: Pad Thai, Fried & Grilled Chicken Wings, BBQ Prawns & Sotong
Usually after our dinner, every night we will go for food massage which only cost us 200 bahts. There are many massage outlet over at Pratunam area so don't worry not able to find one. You will definitely enjoy your food massage especially after a long day shopping...
The next day, we headed to Chatuchak Weekend Market. 6 of us managed to queue into a cab and it only cost us 200 baht.
But if you want to experience taking their sky train, this is how you can get to Chatuchak Market:
By SkyTrain BTS: Alight at Mochit Station MRT

After much shopping, last stop at Chatuchak, we went to the Pets Section and found...
Ah..They are so adorable! So yearning to get a pet but for now not cos I won't have enough time to take care of it. So if you are considering to get a pet, think carefully before deciding...
After spending half a day in Chatuchak, we went to a Korea Restaurant recommended by our friend, Jack. This Korea Restaurant is opened by one of his Korean friend's pal...
Korean Menu in Thai
Some of the food we ordered! Yummy....
Guess what?? The total bill (rounded up) is only 600bahts! So cheap cheap...
