National Day means another public holiday especially for us working adults which is a precious day where we can rest and catch up on what we like to do.
Previously, I walked past the floating platform and took a few photos of the decorations/venue of this year's National Day!
There is no entry so I can only hang around outside and took the stage set-up and seating gallery...
Nice view of MBS
Us with the beautiful background...
As usual, I spent my day with Dear doing nothing except to sort out our wedding photos for printing. We went for dinner early so we can come back in time to catch the whole parade.
Our dinner...Pasta Mania @ Bedok Point
We also ordered a potato salad to share...
We watched through the whole parade and I would say that this year performance was quite nice and not too boring. Perhaps there were quite a few artists involved such as Gurmit Singh, Chua Enlai, Belinda Lee and Sharon Au who just came back from overseas studies.
The highlight is still the fireworks...
I managed to take these photos using my iphone from Dear's balcony! Thou we are on the 20th floor but we are all the way at Bedok area so this is the best I can take..
After the NDP, many of my friends posted their photos on facebook and there were quite a few nice shots!
