The Cookie Museum

If you read my recent post on dinner with Alex and Ashley at the Korean restaurant, this is a continuation. After a sumptuous dinner, we decided to chill out to chit chat further around Esplanade. We were walking around and initially wanted to go some cafe and when we walked past The Cookie Museum, Alex suggested that it is not bad so we went in.

The menu...

The surrounding...

Alex who's so busy with his Ipad and Iphone!

Ashley who's busy taking photos... The interior of the place is actually quite majestic and I felt that I am drawn away to another different type of environment which is stress-free!

Pretty Ashley!

Our tea...Actually when the server comes with our tea, they serve it individually. What I mean is that they have a side serving trolley and pull-out tray. Whenever the server is going to serve one's tea, I noticed the following:

1) Pull out the tray
2) Put the cup and sourcer
3) Put the teaspoon
4) Pour the tea
5) Close the pull-out and serve tea

They actually do the step one by one for each person's tea! Anyway we ordered 3 different fragrant of tea which you could actually you get the servers to recommend you. They will actually bring the available tea leaves and let you smell.

Ashley ordered Lavender with Earl Grey while Alex ordered passion fruit with green tea. I could not remember what I had ordered as I write this post! Oh man... Am I getting old? Haha...

We also ordered their specialty bailey cake which cost $25! But it was really nice to go with your tea...The bailey is pretty rich and with the sponge cake absorbing it... Wow... Yummy!

We chit-chat and relax until their closing time at 1130pm which we were the last customer to leave the place! I enjoyed the place and hopefully will come back soon cos total bill for 3 of us was about $70+. Well, rare of me to spend this amount drinking English tea! Haha....
