Day 3 Phuket, we went on a tour which we signed up the day before. The tour consists of water-rafting, elephant show, flying fox and waterfall visit. Lunch is also included for this package. Each pax cost about 1600 bahts.
These tours can be easily arrange by any tour agencies around as there are plentiful of these agencies. We took a short rest after our breakfast before making our way down to the hotel lobby for the pickup at 10am (Phuket time). The pick-up was so late, came only about 1040am. There was another group of 6 Singaporean students on the same tour as us when we board the van.
It was about 2 hours ride out from Phuket and as usual of me, I try to sleep through. But before I slept, I managed to take these photos...
We first arrived to see the elephant show which is like 5-10 minutes only. Well a quick performance by the small elephant which can play the harmonica, stand on 2 legs and kneel...
We were given some time to take photo with the elephant. We could also touch the elephant and well the hairs were prickly, not a nice feeling though.
A ugly photo of me before I "fly" off taken by Dear...
It was another 15 minutes before we arrived at the holding place for lunch.
The food was not that nice except the egg... After lunch, we waited for another 20-30 minutes before we were briefed and hopped on to the starting point. As it is a water sports, we didn't bring along our camera in case it gets damaged. However they do provide photo-taking which of cos it is part of their plan to earn our money.
This is what I paid for 200 bahts... Can you see me? Haha... It was a nice experience doing the 5km water-rafting...
We were supposed to go for the waterfall visit but the other group of 6 was not willingly to go and if me and Dear wants to go ahead, they have to wait for us for 2 hours. So we decided to be good people and go with the flow though I think it was wasteful since I am already there.
It was another 2 hours ride back and all of us fell asleep. After bathing and a quick rest, we went out again as I wanted to catch the sunset. It was the last day I can catch the sunset before we fly the next morning.
Wanted to try the nutella banana pancake as read so reviews online previously...only 50 bahts!
The taste was not bad, just a little too sweet for my taste...
Went to the beach for sunset.... while waiting found this crab...
As the sun set, the sky begins to colored up...
Simply love the sky as we sat on the beach accompanied by the sound of the waves... Life can never be that simpler to enjoy mother's nature.
Ending with this photo. Will share in the next post on a nice Japanese restaurant which we visited in Phuket. Cheers!
