Simply Life: Hong Kong Day 1

We arrived in Hong Kong about 10+ morning. It is very easy to travel from Hong Kong Airport to city area by their MTR.

Their ticketing machine is very similar to ours in Singapore!

We took from Airport to Tsing Yi Station before we do another MTR transfer to Mong Kok where it is the nearest station to our hotel (Hotel MK). There are free airport shuttles that can send you to some bigger reputable hotels.

Do not take their cab as it would be very expensive. We only took cab back to the Airport on our departure day and it costed us about $40+ dollars.

The lobby looks good but when we went to the hotel room....

The room was really small! I didnt take any photos for the bathroom but this is the smallest hotel room I ever stayed in. Once you open the room door, the bed is on my right and bathroom on my left. Limited walking space but at least there were enough space to put 1 luggage. Unless you are on budget or travelling alone, if not this is not the hotel you will want to stay in.

After we checked in, we went by to the nearest 茶餐厅 for lunch!

This is what Dear had for lunch. You can see the hot smoke coming from the noodles..Yummy!

This is what I had for lunch - Ham and Chesse Sandwich. I wasn't that hungry so went for something simple.

If you are a huge fan of H&M, you need to come to this place - Langham Shopping Mall which is the biggest outlet for H&M. Langham Place Shoppping Mall is located in the heart of Mong Kok and it is walking distance from the MTR Station. You can find many cosmetic products over there and compared to Singapore, the prices of the items are relatively cheaper.

I bought a M.A.C blusher at HK165 only = $27.50 whereas Singapore is selling at $30+

We had dessert at 满记甜品 and ordered Mango Sago... and it is lotsa lotsa sago...
