Hong Kong Day 2

Breakfast to start the day:

茶餐厅 next to Yau Ma Tei Station (Exit is toward City View Hotel, former YMCA)

First stop of the day:

The Peak

Getting there
The nearest MTR station is Central station. From there you walk across a mini garden towards Citibank Building. The walk from station to The Peak will take about 10 minutes.

Here is a map that I extracted from http://www.thepeak.com.hk/

Hop on to the famous Peak Tram and the fabulous panoramic views of Hong Kong from The Sky Terrace, the highest 360° viewing terrace in Hong Kong.

Peak Tram Sky Pass (The Peak Tram & Sky Terrace) cost HK56 per pax.

The tram was moving up at a angle of almost 60 degree until i thought i was on a roller coaster ride! Note: It can be quite stressing on your back!

Some pictures to share at The Peak...

Me & Dear @ The Peak!

We also wrote something... (PS: 07 Jan is Dear's Birthday)

It can be quite windy at The Peak so do bring along a shawl or jacket in case you need it. I wore a tights with skirt, thou I wore a thick jacket but wow..my bottom was cold..... due to the cold wind. So i suggest you to wear jeans instead if you are travelling during the cold season.

Try to take the tram by down before 5+pm as the most of the crowd will leave about 6+pm if you don't wanna caught in a human jam!

You can also want to visit Madame Tussauds Museum. Each ticket cost HK160 per pax. The whole walk will take about 1 hour. There is also a horror trail but scary me won't dare to go for it so dear also skipped it.

There are many celebrites such as Sammi Cheng, Aaron Kwok, Jay Chou, The twins etc.
