Traditional Ice Ball

Me and Dear were passing time walking around before making our way to Marina Bay Sands for The Lion King. Since the weather was so hot, we were nearby Singapore Flyer where previously I shared about the Singapore Trails which you can find traditional nice oldies food.

I suggested to Dear to go for dessert since I have not tried it and also to cool ourself down.

Traditional Ice Ball a.k.a Ice Kachang ($2.50)



There were generous serving of red bean and a few "ah ta ji"!

I remember my mum used to tell me how they eat the ice ball by holding it in their hands and got to eat it quickly cos it will melt fast! If I am not wrong, in the older times one ice ball only cost like 20 cents?

Anyway compare to nowdays, we have so many types of ice kachang such as durian, strawberry, mango etc? Which one do you like?
