Bangkok 2012 - Day 1

It's been more than 1.5 years since I last went to Bangkok in January 2011. It was a all girls trip unlike this round, I went with Dear and some of our friends.

This round we have our wedding page boy who went on this trip with this parents too! His name is Jayvon! Here is a photo of him at terminal 2!

I made Dear take a photo with the background too! Haha...

Jay have this green dinosaur trolley bag which they hand-carry up on flight! It is funny to see Dear pulling the dinosaur along the passageway!

We arrived at our serviced apartment after 3 hours of jam from the airport to here! This round since there are a total of 6 adults and 1 kids, we rented the Somerset serviced apartment!

The hotel lobby...

Sitting lounge...

Our living room...

Huge...kitchen but it is a waste for us!

The place also comes with washing machine and dryer...

Master Bedroom...

Bedroom 2...

Both master bedroom and bedroom 2 come with attached bathroom with bath tub! There is also another room for the guys with attached bathroom but without bath tub! Of cos... I took bedroom  2 cos I wanna use the bath tub which we did a swap with the guys.

After settling in, we made our way to Central World for dinner. We spent like 20 minutes trying to find the Fuji Resturant but turned out it was under renovation so we had to settle for another restaurant called Kobune!

We are famished that all of us ordered a main dish each and a handful of side dishes.

We even ordered a sushi sashimi boat which is like about $50...

Looks yummy but I only eat the salmon and cold crab...

The total bill came up to 3400 bahts which is the highest group meal we spent in Bangkok. I offered to be the group fund treasurer so I can definitely remember how much we spent for each meal and the transportation!

Of cos, after dinner we won't miss going for massage so we took tuk tuk to Pratunam area. After an enjoyable dinner and massage, we went to walk around the area where there are many street food.... and some shopping to do.

Melvin came a few months ago and he remembered there is a very nice stall that sells fried chicken skin which I agreed with him that it is very nice and crispy! One packet is about 20 bahts.

That's all for Day 1 adventure. Stay tuned to Day 2!
