Rise and shine for our only full day in Jeju! We had our itinerary planned out after our breakfast with Yoo Jing. She recommended us for some places of interests, good food and planning our route for us.
We planned to go to our first stop - U-Do where Yoo Jing's hubby San gave us a lift to the nearby bus stop and waited with us for the correct public bus which takes us directly to the harbour. It was more than an hour journey which I fell asleep.
But the weather was not good to us. It started drizzling when we were walking in toward the harbour which is about 500m from where we alighted. Moreover, we were under dressed for the rainy windy weather and it was cold!
We abandoned the plan to go U-Do as the waves were too rocky. Eventually we seek shelter in a cafe (Cafe Moji) nearby for warmth and food...
This bread is made of mugwort. It comes with tangerine jam and whipped cream which was a very beautiful combination! Yummy...
Eventually we rested like more than an hour before taking the public bus back to Dongmun Rotatory where we came across Seogwipo Olle Market.
Seogwipo Olle Market is the traditional largest market in Seogwipo. There are many shops along the streets which offers shopping, eatery.
It was already almost 12pm (Seoul time) but the market stalls are still open. Many ahjumas set up their make shift stalls selling from vegetables, fish and fruits. The most famous fruit in Jeju is definitely their tangerine.
They even sell their local famous tangerine chocolate souvenirs...
We bought their kimchi pancake which is made on the spot! Super delicious as it bring warmth in the cold weather.
This is the "Art Street" where many young artists starts their small shops selling their own things. Along the streets, there were art display pieces and museum sharing history. Some of the places charge a entry fee.
We were lucky to see some sakura starting to bloom... It was my first time seeing it.
Map of Jeju. Actually there are many places that one can visit which you will need to plan your route. There are so many places of interests and museums so with proper planning, your time in Jeju will be very fruitful.
We walked our way to Cheonjiyeon Falls which according to a legend, it means "the pond of God" where nymphs descend to take a bath.
The first cascade of the waterfall is about 22m high and the water forms a pond 21m in depth. The water flows further to form a second cascade of 30m high.
We went on further to Seogwipo's Saeyeon Bridge which is very nearby to the waterfalls. My first impression of this bridge is like Taiwan Danshui Lovers' Bridge.
There is another smaller island called Saesom (Bird Island) which is accessible from Sayeon Bridge. You just need to walk in further to find the "link way" and start exploring the different beautiful views of Hallasan, Munsom and the surrounding area. This place would be nice place to view sunset.

Our guesthouse owner recommended us a well-known chinese korean restaurant which sells very nice Jajangmyeon.
We ordered another seafood Jjampong aka similar to ramen.
I have always wanted to try their Mandu aka dumpling.
The next morning, Yoo Jing was very nice to bring us to another sightseeing place as we missed out many places the day before since it was raining.
They drove us to a famous spot and it is where the famous show - 大長今 show was shoot at ! This place is called Oedolgae Cliff
After spending about half hour, they sent us to the bus-stop where we can take the express bus to airport. It was a nice sightseeing of Jeju before we left the beautiful island. We will definitely come back to Jeju the next round.
