Universal Studio Singapore (Part II)

Continuing my USS Part II...

Since we did not eat anything for the whole day, we decided to grab a bite at "Mel's Drive In" before we catch the Monster Rock Show at 5pm. It is a fastfood burger outlet...

We ordered a double chesseburger and a hotdog meal which cost about $23. The price is double the usual fastfood outside. The burger was nice and its comes with thick chunky fries!

After filling our hunger, we went to catch the Monster Rock Show!

The show was ok only, certains parts was a little dragging.  But I really would say they could sing and dance well.

Beautiful souvenirs....

Funny moments...

It was almost 645pm and we were almost going to leave USS but I was undecisive if to get a sounvenir for myself so Dear suggested going back to Madagascar souvenir shop to see if there is anything to buy. Just as we walked back...we saw...

Madagascar Performance

We didn't managed to take any photos with Alex (The Lion) as the queue was too long and photo session was very short! But Dear and I were happy to be able to take with the penguins especially Skipper! Skipper is the leader of the penguins.

In the end, we bought a small photo frame of the Madagascar Penguins and Dear got himself a Cylone T-Shirt.

Here are some of our nice photos we took with the different mascots and beautiful backgrounds...

Our last photos to end the day...

Universal Studio Singapore (Part I)

It is USS Day! Dear and I took leave to celebrate my birthday thou its one day late cos Dear needs to work.

On way to USS...I am wearing my new AX sunglasses which is my birthday gift from Saturday Cluster Group! Thanks all!

It starting pouring as we arrived at USS but shortly after the sun came out! Thank God for the change of weather.

First view upon entering USS

We follow the map given and started off our USS journey. Our First Stop...Madagascar

There is only 1 ride so we quickly join in the queue...It is a boat ride that tours inside the ship and features all the characters of the movie.

Second Stop: Far Far Away

Mini-roller coaster ride...

4D Show - Must watch!

We made our way to Water World - A show that you won't want to miss!

We managed to catch the 1pm show and it was packed when we went in...

Awesome show where the casts really uses their strength to jump, dive, climb etc... Beware you will be wet if you are sitting in the front area!!!

Next Stop: The Lost World - Jurassic Park

No smoking for Dino???

Rapid's Adventure

We queue for about close to 40 minutes and finally got on the ride. We even bought the pomchos ($2 each) cos we don't wanna get wet! The ride was about 3minutes and gosh our face and hair were wet cos where we sat had the highest impact when the float landed into the water!

We then move on to take a sky ride which is like only 1 minutes ride when we queue for like 30 minutes?

Before we took off

We then moved on to Ancient Egypt

There is a indoor roller coaster ride but no bags were allowed so we stored it in the lockers provided by USS. The first 30 minutes were free but subsequently you need to pay for it....

We also challenged the Battlestar Galactica which is the 2 star attraction rides! I was terrified to try on but Dear is very excited about it. I took a leap of faith and accompanied him cos I don't wanna him to be alone sitting the rides...

Entrance to Human Roller Coaster (Red Track)

I also gave way after trying the red one! Horrified as you are only secured in your lower half whereas your upper half is left exposed. Not something that I like!!! The speed was so fast that you cannot react and by time you return, I was almost in tears and legs were "soft" as I get off the ride.

It took me a while to "recover" and with Dear's encouragement, we went for the Cylon (Blue Track). The Cylon was a better ride for me as our upper body were secured and only left your legs dangling. With your upper body secured, you would feel safer compared to the Human!

Done with 2 rides, we moved on... and show a streetdance performance

Lights, Camera, Action!

Free hats trying...

Presenting to you My Groom-To-Be! :)

I will continue with my part 2 again, stay in tuned!
