Pulau Ubin

Last friday, I was on a one day course which requires us to go half day to Pulau Ubin. We all first met up at Changi Village Hotel for the morning session where we went through our company core values through discussion and team building games.

Lunch was buffet at the hotel which was enjoyable however we were only given 50 minutes to eat so it was a little rush cos cannot really enjoy the buffet.

We made our way to the jetty which actually went through some renovation since I last came in 1999? Haha... Long time ago!

Welcome to Pulau Ubin.. (Opps, took this before we left)

Some of us chit chatting while waiting...

We cycled around Ubin for like 2 hours doing some team building games also before heading back for dinner at one of the restaurant near the jetty.

Dinner was at this restaurant... called Pulau Ubin Restaurant!

Actually at Ubin, there were many dogs! We saw some puppies sleeping under the house too! So adorable...

1st dish: Steam Prawns... Fresh Prawns!

2nd Dish: Lemon Chicken... Not too bad

3rd Dish: La La (Too bad I don't eat shell food)

4th Dish: Steam Fish

5th Dish: Sweet Sour Chicken

6th Dish: Tofu

7th Dish: Stirred Fried Vegetables...

Last Dish: Salted Egg Crab... Not too bad

We had a enjoyable time eating dinner together, laughing over what had happened for the day and getting to know each other better as all of us don't belong to the same department. As the day comes to an end, it was almost 715pm as we move off Ubin. As we walked to the jetty, we were greeted by beautiful sunset...

Our bumpboat...

Last look as we depart Ubin!

Finally we ended the day as all of us went our separate ways, having to know each other, learning more of our company core values and of cos aching body.... My body was aching however I enjyoed the experience of cycling which I had not had it since many years. I may consider going cycling at Ubin if anyone is interested? Haha...
