My apologies for not doing up my post reguarly these days cos BIG DAY is counting down. Getting more busy each day. Nevertheless let me continue my Taipei Day 3 (Part 2)...
I heard there is a free shuttle bus from Taipei City Hall Station which goes to Taipei 101. Below is the ticketing booth at level 5 where each person cost about NT400 to go in....
This is the queue to go up...
I didn't managed to take picture in the lift. However it is the one of the fastest lifts around to take you from 1st storey to 88th storey in 38 seconds. During the whole ride up and down, there is a service lift attendance who will do a quick introduction in chinese, english and japanese.
At the 88th Storey....First welcome photo
View from top down...
Took this photo from a existing display picture...
They were also selling limited wine bottle replica to Taipei 101... in black and red design
There were also jade craving exhibits around... their crafting workmanship is good...
This is a preying mantis...
An eagle...
A big piece of jade...
Can't remember what is this....haha
Guan Yu...
After we came down, we saw.... 鼎泰豐 Ding Tai Fung!!! They actually have one outlet at Taipei 101 Basement. Dear and I had been wanting to try 鼎泰豐 in Taiwan cos their reviews are so so good...
Excited about eating there...Menus....
Their prices are similar to of Singapore....
We started off with Xiao Cai...not as good as Singapore
Drunken Chicken... not too bad...
All time famous Xiao Long Bao! Really.. it is much better compared to Singapore!
Pork Cutlet, standard same as Singapore...
Zha Jiang Mian...standard same as Singapore...
Fried rice ...standard same as Singapore...
They have a large view of the kitchen...
Our order for 4 of us only cost us NT1040 which is about S$50... Cheap!
After filling our stomach, we took a cab to Raohe Night Market 饒河夜市...mum at the entrance of the night market...
We saw these cute cats and dogs which I can't resist to take photos of them thou they were in cages...
This is something that I would recommend if you like to eat Muah Chee. Taiwan Muah Chee is slightly different from Singapore. They actually have sesame filling inside which is very tasty!
The Muah Chee uncle preparing our portion. One packet is NT50...
Up next, this caught our attention as the queue was long....
It is actually Pepper Biscuit with pork filling inside...
If you are there, you should try it! If I remember correctly, its about NT50 per pc...After eating all the "hot" food, time for dessert!
We ordered this (San Se Bing) meaning 3 types of fruits (Mango, Kiwi, Strawberry) which only cost NT160...
Mum was craving for cuttlefish as she walked past earlier so she went back to buy...NT100
We continued walking and did some shopping before heading back to hotel and massage! We went to Lee Bing Hui shop which is near the Ximen station. I had went to this shop before a few years ago when I came to Taiwan with my another group of friends...
We paid NT500 per pax for about 60 minutes massage.. We definitely need it cos our legs are so tired out...
My younger brother got the fittest guy among all of them. He was telling me that his masseur gave all his strength but at certain points he could feel pain, other than that it is normal massaging to him. I could image how much force the masseur used cos I saw him using his body weight on my brother! haha...
What a great day to end the night, we all had a good sleep before Day 4 starts! Stay tuned for my Day 4, I hope I will not take too long to do the post!
